WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am Kay Lovelle, a British actress, vegan ambassador and founder of The Bio Fashion Vible. I live in London, UK.

WHAT IS THE ONE PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?

The Animals Rights March London 2018. Never felt more liberated marching for such a cause! To do something outside of yourself on behalf of someone else’s life was most liberating and meaningful to me. Along with an army of approx. ten thousand likeminded individuals - the energy was ecstatic!

WHAT CHANGES ARE YOU HOPING TO SEE IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS?

The increased demand for animal liberation and the serious rise of the animal rights movement. Increase of global bans on animal testing; fashion & beauty brands becoming free from using animal products. Global bans on animals in sports and entertainment and the increased demand for vegan fashion. Generally the world going more #crueltyfree.

WHAT PART OF YOUR LIFE DO YOU THINK NEEDS MOST IMPROVEMENT IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABILITY?

I do the best I can but I feel that I do have a long way to go as being a general ‘consumer’. Some things are still not as convenient to sustain as they could be or financially viable. For example, sustainable fashion should not be so expensive to buy for the average consumer and the same goes for vegan and organic foods. As not everyone can afford the luxury of sustainable living to a degree. I would also like to use less packaging in the products I buy and purchase more refillable products.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT IS THE EASIEST THING ANYONE CAN DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT?

By changing what is on their plates! As well as purchasing clothing that is cruelty free: ie: no leather, no wool, no fur, no exotic skins, no silk etc.

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE WORLD IN TEN YEARS?

Motto: More kindness and less greed. Where sentient life is respected and we no longer need the blood sweat and tears of others to better ourselves in ways that are outdated and inhumane.

YOUR FAVORITE GOLDRAD BAG?

My favorite is definitely black clutch bag, (the Phoenix Superstar Evening Bag) because I love the slick, cute minimal design of it. And it looks super glam and is so compact. Love how the flap, flaps over the handle, so many different ways which you can hold it.
